    Prince Asfa-Wossen Asserate was born in 1948 in Addis Abeba as the great-nephew of the last Ethiopian emperor. He came for his studies to Germany in 1970 where he stayed due to the political development in his home country. He studied in Tübingen, Cambridge and at the Goethe University in Frankfurt. Asfa-WossenAsserate wrote several books, one of them about his great-uncle Haile Selassie, but also about German peculiarities and manners. He was Consultant at projects in Africa and got the Jacob-Grimm Prize for German language in 2015. He talks about his experiences at the sites of the emperor Haile Selassie, about his time as a press-speaker at the Düsseldorf Fair, about personal meetings and the role of values for living together.
