    Boris Rhein was born in Frankfurt in 1972. Since 2014 has been minister for economy in Hessen.Between 2010 and 2014 he was minister of the Department of the Interior and Sports, after being deputy secretary to this minister the previous year. He was state secretary and department head in Frankfurt. He studied law at the Goethe University and has been a member of the federal state department of Hessen (Landtag of Hesse) since 1999. Boris Rhein talks about what leadership is for him and what special demands there are for leaders in politics. He discusses Petra Roth, Volker Bouffier and Roland Koch as politicians that have helped shape his mindset about leadership. He also talks also about his personal style of leadership and, in more detail, about the role of values in politics.
