September 6th, 2012 Jürgen Heraeus being interviewed by Rolf van Dick

Jürgen Heraeus was born in Hanau in 1936, studied business in Freiburg and Munich and did his PhD in Munich. In 1964 he started working in the family business Heraeus, becoming finance director, and from 1983 held the seat as chairman of the board of management and has been chairman of the supervisory board since 2000. Jürgen Heraeus is a member of the executive committee of the Federation of German Industries, chairman of UNICEF Germany and part of the university council atTechnical University Darmstadt. In the interview with Rolf van Dick he talks about his role in the supervisory board of Heraeus but also in other organizations, about values and the importance of role models.
