    Swana Schuchmann

Swana Schuchmann is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in the sociology of work and serves as a research associate affiliated with the Center for Leadership and Behavior in Organizations (CLBO) at Goethe University Frankfurt.
Their research interests revolve around the convergence of digitization within the workplace and the realms of gender studies and diversity. During their master’s studies, Swana conducted comprehensive inquiries into various facets of contemporary work environments. These inquiries encompassed investigations into workplace-related digital sexual harassment amidst COVID-19 lockdowns, the dynamics of digital sex work in Germany, as well as the phenomena of the glass cliff and the gender promotion gap affecting women and queer individuals.
Presently, Swana’s scholarly endeavors are centered on the intricate intersections of trust in leadership, DEIB (diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging) organizational development, and the complexities of minority stress in advancing DEIB core values within organizational contexts.
