Kai Klose, born in 1973, studied in Frankfurt and Marburg and was also involved in both the Asta and student parliament, whose president he was temporarily. At the age of 19, he was part of the foundation of Bündnis 90/Die Grünen in his home municipality,Waldems. There he had several positions, for example he was on the environment and youth council and Mayor in 2002 and 2003. Since 1995 he has been a member of Bündnis 90/Die Grünen in Hessen and from 2004 to 2011 he was a member of the federal parliament. He is a member of several committees and an economy politician speaker of the parliamentary party. In the interview with Rolf van Dick he talks about leadership in the context of being only obliged to the own conscience as a member of parliament, about the organization of the parliamentary party, further education and leadership development for members of parliament and about feedback at work.
